5 ROOM SURPRISE

You walk into your parents room and out of curiousity and sheer boredom you start dishing out stuff off the cupboard and your state of mind is still bored all this while , and the you stumble upon an almost vintage casio solar powered digital watch and your expression goes, "oh, heck, i did'nt know i still had it"
Its a moment of surprise, and the next minute your wrist is adorned with that lost jewel.
But you know you don't need it, you have something better already.
Does this happen to you ?
It happen to us all the time.

5 ROOM SURPRISE is all about these 'things'.
Things that you don't need anymore, although in working condition they could bless somebody else.

Why 5 ROOM ?
Beacuse most of us (most) live in homes that have 5 ROOMS and can easily find a 'thing' in each Room that can help somebody.

A simple Example - Your Mom's Soda maker is no novelty anymore (to you) but it sure can be of service to a children's home.

A Finer Example - Your Old CD writer that can be a teenager's Pride and Joy

A Super Example - Your Tennis - replica - mosquite - reppelling - racket can massacre malarian pests on the other side of town.

In conclusion, lets agree that there are 'things' that we can live without, and our hope is that you'll be able to share selflessly for the benefit of others.

Do shoot us a mail or call us if you'd like to dispose 'things' from your rooms.

Wokay Wokay !

We've done our bit, played our bit part, whole of 2008.
Names and numbers play a vital role on your day and age , but we choose to stay all esoteric about our contribution.

On one hand we could boast about what we've done, but its not over, its still a drop in the ocean.
However, we need more ideas , even if they're vivid and unreachable, so if you've got a suggestion, let us know !

Chai Biscuit

Flipping through the papers is by far the first thing on most people's minds, along with the news
comes a daily dose of Tea and Toast... er Chai and biskoot for the average Indian.

Dipping biscuits in the tea is a very Indian thing, regular at most breakfast tables. while dipping, one comes across the buzz happening around the globe, the news papers have a lot to say...
X's Birthday bash at the Taj, D's engagement at the Club, L.L 's Italian Holiday, The Stones back in studio, Bipasha's entry at the awards nite, Manish's fall ensemble for the fashion week, the welfare minister's speech for the blind, its all good , everything hunky dory.

Shock checks in the moment we see, a mournful picture of young mother of two crying over her husband's body in the bomb belts of Baghdad, skinny African boys with bloated bellies dying for a taste of refugee Nutriment, a pregnant seventeen year old prostitute, shelterless in the streets of Mumbai. Bereaved, we are moved with compassion, care and most times angry with the sorry state of affairs.

Too many cameras, not enough food! Our battle cry, but Baghdad is a million miles away, so is Darfur and Mumbai has always been this way!

Look outside your balcony, there's another Metro in the making , Every Metropolis co exists with a shanty backdrop, a poverty stricken surrounding, a needy community!

A Strong passion interlaced with positive solutions has led to the dawn of the Chai Biscuit
Foundation, our desire is to provide vital necessities for children... the adults of the coming
generation, children between the ages of Five and Fifteen, basic needs such as rubber slippers, writing slates, canvas footwear, warm clothing and school stationery, needs that will benefit a child towards education and other spheres, needs that are worth chai biscuit.

As self proclaimed Rock Stars,We, Native Tongue strongly believe that we are responsible for the cause and change of this generation, a generation thats "India Shining", we're not here to sound/act like we're activists...in fact we are activists, anybody who stands for a postive and just change is an activist
The United Nations , NACO , World Vision and other famed organizations have been doing their jobs/ service , we salute them , their work is commendable, but its still not enough to fit the entire world.

Lets take a positive step towards the state of poverty in our community, Now is the time!

Native Tongue has released its debut offering titled "Electric Piano", the Compact Disc features Seven tracks, the C.D priced at 150 rupees allows the buyer to invest into the lives of
underprivileged children. 10% of each C.D will rightfully and ethically be transferred into the Chai Biscuit Foundation.

10% however is not the end, its just the begining!
we need new ideas, wise suggestions and of course close partnerships, Together we are better!
